Overview
A botanical fragrance line launching with five scents and a plan to add two a year indefinitely. Any packaging system had to accommodate additions without the range ever looking like it had been extended.
Approach
A radial bloom generated from the scent's note count — a three-note scent gets three petals, an eight-note gets eight. New scents generate their own artwork by definition. The box structure, foil, and type are identical across the range, so the only variable is the one that means something.
Outcome
Two additional scents launched in the first year, both generating their own artwork with no design input. Retail partners describe the range as reading as a set, which is the whole trick.
